SAN JUAN BONFIRES |

Bonfires of San Juan: wooden and paper mache figures are displayed for a few days and are finally burnt the June 24. With the summer solstice, the night of San Juan (23rd June) floods the beaches with people out to have a good time. It is customary to eat some sandwiches on the beach and get your feet wet. It is the last night that the monuments preside the party because they will burnt the following night, ending a year of work.
